About East Texas Tree Pros

Tree removal, trimming, stump grinding and storm cleanup for Tyler and Smith County.

East Texas Tree Pros is a booking line, not a tree company. Calls, messages and quote requests to this site go to a booking desk, not to a crew: the desk gets back to you, takes the details, and passes the job to an independently owned tree service business in the area, which quotes it and does the work. We do not own the trucks or employ the climbers. What we own is the standard the crew has to meet to keep the line.

That standard is short. Show up when you said. Put the price in writing before the saw starts, and make the invoice match it. Clean up: logs cut to length, brush chipped, lawn raked, ruts discussed before a crane rolls onto the grass. Prune oaks only in the dormant months and seal every cut. Tell the homeowner when a tree should stay, and when a trim is money wasted on a tree that has to come down. A crew that misses those marks loses the line, and we find one that keeps them.

A call to the line goes like this. Describe the tree, where it stands and what worries you. The crew sets a time to come out, walks the yard, and writes the estimate on the spot: removal, cleanup, haul-away, and stump grinding as its own line so you pay for it only if you want it. If a power line or a permit is involved, you hear that at the estimate, not on the day. Emergency calls skip the queue: trees on houses, cars and driveways are dispatched first, at any hour.

The service area is Smith County and the counties around it: the Azalea District, Charnwood, Hollytree and Cumberland Park inside the city; Flint, Whitehouse, Bullard, Lindale, Chandler and Noonday around it; the lake lots on Lake Tyler and Lake Palestine; and out to Jacksonville and Longview on a scheduled day. Same estimate, same price list, same line.

Two honest limits. A crew that brings a bucket truck, a chipper and rigging gear is not the cheapest number you will get, because it costs more to run than a pickup with a chainsaw. And nobody on this line touches the utility's side of a power line; that is Oncor's job first, and we say so. If anything about a job is not right, call the same number and say so, and it gets fixed or the crew answers for it.
